Innisfail Middle School Parent Council Meeting Minutes Monday April 19, 2010

  In attendance Cory Wygeria, Leah Adams, Janette Charlton, Julie Ramrattan, Carol Johnson.

Meeting called to order at 12:12, Janette called to adopt February minutes, Cory seconded.  Minutes adopted.

1. Grade 8 Orientation – not finalized, will be notified by the high school once orientation details are finalized.  Students will be choosing options on March 22.

      2.    Middle school constitution – read through and amended.  Carol will find electronic copy and get changes done.

      3.     Principal’s Report

                            AADAC – Kids and Drugs for Parents tonight, may be cancelled due to lack of response.

                             Rachel’s Challenge – May 13 at the CLC in Olds. Grades 6 & 7 will be attending presentation in the morning; CSAL leaders will have a work shop in the afternoon.

                    SMART board presentation – were shown some of the applications by different classrooms.

   Meeting adjourned at 1:00pm. Next meeting June 7^th at 12:00, the final meeting for this school year.
